Ira McIntosh is currently in the Masters of Global Communications program at AUP and holds a previous masters and bachelors in opera performance and has spent the last decade as a drag performer in Seattle and New York City. Nowadays, Ira is working towards a future as a queer historian and is working within academia and the communication sector to find a use for social media as a tool for gathering historical information. When not studying, Ira can be found looking whistfully out of bus windows listening to 90s grunge music, drinking far too much coffee, and sewing clothes for himself and others.
